This workshop is designed to allow us drop in to a place where we can create without judgment or preconception, circumventing the linear, rational mind; allowing awareness to expand and mine the wells of memory, imagination and the subconscious.
We will venture into writing that emerges from exercises based in Fornesian (María Irene Fornes) and other methodologies grounded in visualization, mindfulness, somatic awareness, and chance.
This workshop invites the playwright to broaden the possibilities of storytelling in the theatre through cultivating or deepening a practice in service of discovering and mining the gifts and provocations of the subconscious mind.
